Using biocontrol agents as a crop protection method is not exactly a new activity in the agricultural market, but it is a fast growing one, as populations are being more observant of how food actually comes to the table and pressing for more sustainable alternatives to traditional farming. And again showcasing innovation, the agriculture team at Momentive is proud to bring this trend in the segment closer to what we have been doing to enable the future of agriculture right now, sharing both how the company innovative and sustainable cores are being explored to bring better performance to biological formulations.
After last November’s webinar being a success, Momentive is now offering two more sessions on the topic to cover multiple audiences. Do you know how organosilicone-based adjuvants, like Silwet and AgroSpred, can help biological formulations be more successful in the field – improving coverage, deposition, and penetration – while also adding on sustainability and allowing for organic farming with a wide range of certified products available for use? Let’s find out together!
In this webinar you will learn:
What is the overall chemistry behind organosilicone-based adjuvants and how they can improve the performance of biological agents – delivering more treatment to the crops.
The compatibility between Silwet adjuvants and several commercially available biocontrol products.
Some examples of the impact Silwet adjuvants can have on enhancing the efficacy of biologicals under field conditions.
Offerings available to make your farming more sustainable – with certified and biodegradable products in our portfolio.
This webinar will be offered in two different sessions: 8 AM GMT & 2 PM GMT. You can register to one or both on the form.
Based in Europe, Benjamin has a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences and Soil Microbiology from the University of York, England, and 15 years of experience working directly with agricultural research. He joined Momentive in early 2021 to help customers develop optimized applications of our portfolio of adjuvants and antifoams for the European and Northern and Western African regions. Currently, Benjamin is focused on understanding the use of organosilicone-based adjuvants with a multitude of biocontrol agents to improve their performance in the field, an important need for this growing industry.
